mmm...next story...
after the hoohahs of the kite making,..went on to make preparations for a wedding on my side..Again, I was choked up to my tonsils..what did I do?..lets see..
sew curtains for the house, make the hantaran/gubahan (with the help of a friend),went all the way to the panas Arab St just to hunt for the bloody but beautiful ribbons and satin - sew the little pouches to sumbat the bunga rampai - dress up the baskets into works of art - bake the single tier wedding fondant cake - assembled the barang2 decor - mmm....apa lagi..tak tau la apa nak cakap.
For this, I was scolded so many times for not sleeping over the nite becuz - get this- all the above are done in a week, together with other jobs/chores.. The biggest straw was when I did not sleep for 3 nites straight. Needless to say, I felt like ripping my heart out onto my palms and pump it manually, just to keep it beating. My failing eyes were shrouded with grey strands of hallucinating mirage. Setiap apa yang mataku terpandang ibarat fatamorgana yang datangnya berulang-ulang...tapi akhirnya menghilang...ceh!..sastera sekejap..
Anyway...nak dipendekkan cerita,..dan memanjangkan blog,
mukaku macam daging tak empuk,
jalan macam tak jejak bumi,
Ibaratnya kekata Pak Sudin bin Dali,
lang bo ti lang,
kui bo ti kui...
my mood?...jgn cakap..aku punya mengamuk, boleh terbalik satu kampung...
Inilah akibatnya :
orang yang mata tak cukup tidur,
badan yang tak cukup rihat,
otak yang tak cukup masa nak fikir,
hati yang tak baik2 sakit,
dan poket yang masih tak cukup duit..
fed up,babe ..fed up...
tapi apa2 pun...hai Ana...buuuaaaaatt jugak...nak cakap cari balak, tak jugak...nak cakap cari pahala,..dosa yang aku dapat agaknya ...nak cakap apa?..kalau dah namanya ANA = ini la jawabnya...DEGIL...hehe...tapi takpe..fedup punya fedup pun, aku happy jugak akhirnya...entah la...susah nak jelaskan APER KAH KEBENDANYA yang aku happykan ni...cuma Allah saje yang tauuuuu....
ape lagi nak crite eh...
ah..
next post lah...

Go fly kite....part 2
Then it was followed with more trial-and-error sessions at Sally's house. After a hectic last minute(as usual)schedule in which I ignored my appt in the process, plus a terrible in-the-line-of-duty cut on my left thumb all the way down to my wrist which is now scarring me for life,we did quite a good job,a heartfelt gratitude to Sally,Ros,June for their help and not forgetting Nor,who rushed down rite after her work. The Malay teachers have to learn to do the 'wau', a traditional kite, originating from the coastal KELANTAN,eastern Malaysia. The Chinese teachers have to learn the art of making a 'dragonfly' kite,in which I'm most proud to say, designed the bamboo structure on my own. They were also given a step-by-step manual, again, ehem, designed and illustrated by myself, right down to a detailed drawn to scale specification. The team of Chinese teachers impressed me the most with their willing-to-learn attitude, despite the fact that some of them are somewhat 'veterans'in this area. They finished their kites happily in the 2hrs session which started at 3pm.As for the Malay teachers, they only managed to construct the base bamboo structure of the 'wau'.As far as my designs are concerned,I hv timed the construction of both types of kites individually and both could be achieved within the 2 hour slot. But then again,...where enthusiasm is concerned...hhm....rather disappointing...u go figure.....
But,..all in all,..proud to be able to impart my skills to everyone else, learning new ones along the way..and it was a good, handsome experience,..despite the fatigue and ...err...'hiccups'...guess what - still carried on with my Tuition after that at around 6pm...now THAT..is super..superfly..
till another post,
stay tuned..
*wink*

Go fly kite...
hi people...
long time no blog..
U have no idea how BUSY I was since my last update..
.was needed here and there,...school,cck and mp...sometimes I felt that I had to be cut into half or quarters..just to fill the needs of the people around me..am I complaining?..nope..as much as I want to, I can't..well, at least I AM STILL needed..do I really want to be discarded?...hhmm...horrific...
Well,.my first story ...
...I was kept up to the brim with..mmm..where do I begin. Oh..I gotta revamp the TB class and came up with a new way of mass teaching, enhancing the system along the way. The new class is adapting well, so far, to my garangness.Apart from that,I held a workshop together with my team for the Malay and Chinese teachers of the Mother Tongue Department on 14th Feb,right after TB class @ the Art Room.A traditional-kite-making workshop to be exact. This is to equip them with the necessary skills to train the students later on to do their project for Mother Tongue Week. This year's focus will be on traditional games. it was agreed that traditional kite would be what the students will be making for their project.
Me, Sally and Ros met up at Ros' place to initialize the workshop. It was here that we took lots of pics (which I thot were too obnoxious to be posted here) on the first rangka that we managed to come up with.
